Sunday breakfast

Gorgeous! Warm or cold. And sugar free! Based on this recipe.

Mix dry ingredients and put into greased baking dish:

  • 2 cups of oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g  grated raw carrot
  • a handful raisins

Whisk together:

  • 2  eggs
  • 500ml natural yogurt or milk

and pour it over the oats. Prepare crunchy top layer by mixing:

  • 4 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 180 g walnuts or nuts of your choice
  • 100 g sunflower seeds or seeds of your choice

and put it on top of egg mixture. Bake for 30 minutes in 180C.
